Squffy Tactical, heavy-duty dog collars for power breeds, embroidered in our Dutch studio. Three sizes. Four colors. Tested to load.
The Tactical line answers a specific question: how do you put a personalized dog collar on a forty-kilo dog that pulls. The webbing is 25 mm reinforced nylon on size M, stepping up to 38 mm reinforced double-thickness on L and XL. The buckle is matte-black zinc alloy, a metal quick-release, tested to hold 360 kg under continuous pull. The control handle is padded, sewn into the strap above the D-ring so you can take quick close-up control without changing your grip on the leash.
Embroidery is the same as the Classic line: a choice of fonts, a wide range of thread colors, up to 10 characters, machine-embroidered into the webbing. Hardware is matte-black throughout: buckle, D-ring, control loop. Made to order in Veghel in 1 to 3 business days.

Tactical is designed for power breeds and dogs that pull strongly on the leash. With enhanced strength, durability, and control, it is built for dogs that demand more from their gear.
When to Choose Another Collection
If your dog does not require the added strength and control of Tactical, our Classic Collar is an excellent choice for everyday adventures. With a lighter design and compatibility with interchangeable dog pins, it is the preferred option for most dogs. For puppies and smaller breeds, our Puppy Collar offers a lighter, more comfortable fit.
Built with a Wide Safety Margin
The buckle is tested to withstand up to 360 kg of continuous force without releasing. This provides a significant safety margin, even for strong pullers and power breeds.
Dog pin compatibility
Tactical collars are not compatible with Squffy dog pins due to their thicker construction. For dogs that wear both Tactical and Classic collars, dog pins can be added to compatible Classic Collars, allowing you to switch between designs throughout the year.

Is the Tactical buckle really that strong?
Yes. The Tactical buckle has been tested to withstand up to 360 kg of static load, while the matching leash's frog clasp is rated to 907 kg breaking force. Together, they provide exceptional strength and security for strong pullers and power breeds.
What's the control handle for?
The padded handle is sewn into the webbing above the D-ring and lets you grab the collar directly. Useful for close-up control in busy spaces (vet's waiting room, lift, loose dog approaching) without switching your grip on the leash.
Can I add Squffy dog pins to a Tactical collar?
No. Dog pins can only be added when personalizing a Classic Collar. Due to their thicker construction, Tactical Collars cannot be fitted with dog pins.
