The dog pin system

How dog pins work

Squffy dog pins: screw on, swap out, build a collection. Stainless steel with 18K gold-plated finish. Screws into the reinforced eyelets on a Classic Dog Collar ordered with pins (eyelets are set in production), using the supplied keychain screwdriver. Compatible with Classic Collars only. Not compatible with Tactical or Puppy Collars.

Our dog-pin collection includes a variety of playful, stylish and seasonal designs, making it easy to create a look that suits your dog's personality. Dog pins are available in 12 mm or 20 mm, depending on the design. The exact size is listed on each product page.

Dog pins are stocked, usually shipped within 24 hours from our Dutch studio. Buy three in one order and we throw in a Squffy keychain screwdriver.

What makes Squffy pins different

They snap on, swap out, and stay put

A Squffy Classic collar ordered with dog pins has eyelets set during production. Pins screw in from the back and they don't slide once seated. Screw one on for the morning walk. Swap it before dinner. They stay put through fetch.

Pins, not stickers

Hard enamel on 18K gold-plated stainless steel. The color is fired into the metal, not printed, not vinyl-coated. They hold up to teeth, mud, rain, and the dog rolling on a hot pavement. The clasp is real metal, not plastic.

Drawn in-house

Every design started as a pencil sketch on a notebook in the studio. The range runs across animals, food, plants, hearts and seasonal designs, and we add new ones when an owner sends in a request that we can't say no to.

Questions we get the most

Do the pins fit any collar, or only Squffy ones?
Only a Squffy Classic collar, and only one ordered with dog pins, because the eyelets are set during production. Neither Tactical nor Puppy collars take dog pins. Once a Classic is made with eyelets you can swap freely among all our designs, but eyelets cannot be added to a collar you already own.
How many pins can a single collar hold?
A Classic collar ordered with dog pins has up to three eyelets, left, center and right of the buckle. Most owners run one or two; three is a full statement.
Will the pins fall off?
Not if they're seated properly. Each pin screws into the eyelet from the back and a keychain screwdriver comes in the box. We've had returns over fit, never over fall-out.
What's the difference between a single pin and a pin set?
A pin set is three matching pins designed to fit all three Classic slots, a curated full look. Single pins let you mix and match across designs. Pin sets are priced at about 80% of three singles.
Can I commission a custom pin?
Not yet. The minimum economical order quantity from our enamel manufacturer is fifty per design, so one-offs aren't possible. If you've got an idea you think other Squffy owners would want, send it. We add designs based on real requests.

What to look for

How the dog-pin system works

Order a Classic Dog Collar with dog pins (only the Classic; not Tactical, not Puppy) and reinforced eyelets are set into the webbing in production. The pin sits face-up on the outside; the screw-back tightens from the inside, threading through the eyelet. Use the supplied keychain screwdriver to tighten: two minutes to fit, ten seconds to swap.

Singles vs sets

Singles let you build a slow collection: start with one dog pin, add more over time. Sets are curated theme-trios at a small saving (Adoring Sweetheart for hearts, Coffee Date for café walks, Creepy Cuties for October, Santa's Squad for December). Most customers start with a set and add singles for variety.

Material

Stainless steel under an 18K gold-plated enamel layer. The enamel is durable: daily walks, mud, rain, even occasional swimming all fine. Don't put them in the dishwasher and they'll outlast the collar.
