How to measure your dog's neck
Squffy collars are made to order and personalized for your dog. A correct size is essential, once we embroider a name the collar allows very little adjustment. Take 60 seconds to measure carefully.
The two-finger rule
- Wrap a soft tape measure around the middle of your dog's neck, not too high, not too low.
- Slide two fingers between the tape and the neck. The tape should be snug but comfortable, with room for two fingers to fit underneath.
- Read the measurement at the point where the tape meets itself, in centimeters.
- Pick a size where your measurement falls comfortably inside the range, closer to the middle of the range than the edges.

Each line has its own neck ranges and its own strap width. Measure first, then read the table for the line you want.

Some ranges overlap. Where two sizes both fit your measurement, we suggest the one whose middle sits closest to it, and where those two sizes have different strap widths you can choose the narrower or the wider strap yourself.
Dog pins fit the Classic line only. A name takes up to 10 characters, up to 8 on a Classic ordered with dog pins, and up to 6 on a Classic Small with dog pins, because the eyelets take up strap space.
Smaller dogs
Puppies and small breeds are covered by the Puppy line, which runs smaller and uses lighter hardware.
Returns
Personalized collars are made to order, so an incorrect size cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. If you are between two sizes, message us before you order, we are happy to advise. This does not affect your rights if an item arrives faulty or not as described.
