The Tactical line
Made for strong pullers
Squffy Tactical Dog Leashes: heavy-duty dog leashes for power breeds and dogs that pull. Reinforced 25 mm nylon webbing, matte-black zinc alloy frog-clasp clip tested to 907 kg, padded traffic handle near the clip for close-up control. 150 cm standard length. Four colorways: Cognac Brown, Olive Green, Midnight Black, Ruby Red.
Optional embroidery on the leash, the same fonts and thread colors as the rest of the line. A classic setup: dog's name on one side, owner phone number on the other; Cream on cognac and White on midnight black are the strongest contrast pairings.

Buyer's guide
What to look for
Who the Tactical leash is for
XL Bullies, Pocket Bullies, Cane Corsos, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Belgian Malinois, working German Shepherds, Mastiffs, anything that hauls. The frog clasp is zinc alloy, tested to 907 kg as a release-rated breaking force, over-spec by a factor of seven for any breed at full power. If your dog goes through Classic clips, you need the Tactical.
The traffic handle
A padded loop sewn into the strap above the clip. It lets you grab the leash near the dog without re-gripping the main handle: useful for tight spaces, elevator queues, vet waiting rooms, or when another dog gets too close. The loop is integrated into the webbing, not a separate piece, so there's nothing to fail.
Length
150 cm standard, same as the Classic line. The traffic handle gives you close-up control without having to choke up on the main leash.
Pair with a Tactical collar
The Tactical leash is 25 mm reinforced webbing in one size, cut from the same nylon as the Tactical collar. Hardware matches: matte-black zinc alloy throughout.
Why this line
What you're getting
- Frog-clasp clip tested to 907 kg breaking force, built for dogs that need extra security
- Padded traffic handle near the clip: close-up control without re-gripping
- Reinforced 25 mm webbing matched to the Tactical collar in the same colorway
Frequently asked
Questions we get the most
How long is the leash?
150 cm, clip to handle. The traffic handle above the clip gives you close-up grip when you want it, so you never have to choke up on the main leash.
What's the traffic handle for?
The padded loop sewn into the webbing above the clip. Grab it for close-up control (tight queues, elevators, the vet, a loose dog approaching) without changing your grip on the main handle.
Frog clasp tested to 907 kg: is that real?
Yes. It's the zinc-alloy clasp's release-rated breaking force, lab-tested independently. For working perspective: a 50 kg power breed at full pull generates 80 to 120 kg of force at the clip. The Tactical clasp is over-spec by a factor of seven.
How heavy is the leash itself?
Heavier than a Classic Dog Leash because the webbing is double-thickness. The padded handles take the weight off your grip.
Can I get embroidery on a Tactical leash?
Yes, same fonts and thread colors as the Classic line. Cream embroidery on cognac webbing is a favorite; matte black on midnight black is the discreet choice.
