Squffy Puppy Dog Leashes: lightweight nylon with a zinc-alloy clip, designed so the leash doesn't drag on a 5 kg dog. Four colorways: Cognac Brown, Olive Green, Midnight Black, Ruby Red. 150 cm standard length.
Optional embroidery, in puppy-friendly fonts and the same thread colors as the rest of the line. Names look better than long phone numbers on the narrow webbing; we recommend keeping it short.

What to look for
When to choose the Puppy leash
For dogs under 12 kg adult weight: Cavaliers, Frenchies, Cockapoos, Mini Dachshunds, Yorkies, Pomeranians, Bichons. For puppies of any breed in their first 5 to 6 months. The 15 mm webbing is the lightest we make and won't drag on a small frame.
When to upgrade
When your medium-breed pup graduates to a Classic Dog Collar, the matching Classic Dog Leash is the natural pair. The Classic webbing is sturdier and the clip is rated for higher pull force. Small-breed adults can stay on the Puppy leash permanently.
Length
150 cm reaches mid-thigh on most adults, with slightly more slack on the floor for very small pups (under 25 cm withers). The clip is light enough that the slack doesn't bother them.

Yes, about 90 g for the 150 cm length. The 15 mm webbing is the lightest dog leash we make.
Will the leash drag on the floor?
At 150 cm the leash reaches mid-thigh on most adult walkers. For very small pups (Yorkie, Cavalier puppy), expect 20 to 40 cm of slack on the ground. The clip is light enough that the slack doesn't bother the dog.
Can I personalize the Puppy leash?
Yes, in puppy-friendly fonts and the same threads as the rest of the line. Names look better than long phone numbers on the narrow webbing.
When should I switch to a Classic leash?
When your dog moves to a Classic Dog Collar, typically around 5 to 6 months for medium breeds. Small-breed adults can stay on the Puppy leash.
