Ruby. Deep wine with a burgundy undertone, webbing matching the Classic Dog Collar Ruby Red. Never crimson, never fire-engine.

Premium nylon, soft on the hand. Zinc-alloy swivel clip; the warm tone picks up the warmth in the ruby and stops it reading as plain red. Optional embroidery on the leash itself: dog's name, owner's initials, phone number, a choice of fonts and a wide range of thread colors.

Make it last

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Hand-wash on cold for stubborn marks. Air-dry away from direct sun. Rinse the clip with fresh water after sea swims, the clip holds up but salt is hard on any spring mechanism.
