Editorial
Corrections
Every material correction we have ever issued, dated, linked to the article we changed, and visible. Squffy's full editorial policy is at /editorial-standards.
No material corrections logged to date.
We have not issued a Tier 2, 3, or 4 correction since this log opened. Typo-level fixes happen silently and are not logged here , that's by design. The first material correction we issue will appear at the top of this page with the date, the article it affects, and a one-line summary of what changed and why.

How to flag a correction
What to include

- • The exact sentence or claim that's wrong
- • A primary source backing your correction, if you have one

How we treat corrections, by severity
We log corrections at four severity tiers. The higher the tier, the louder we are about it.
Typo
Spelling, punctuation, or whitespace. Fixed silently, no correction note.
Factual error
A wrong claim, an outdated number, a mis-cited source. Article updated; dated correction note appears at the top.
Safety-relevant error
A claim that could affect a dog's wellbeing if acted on (sizing, breed-fit, hardware, materials toxicity). Updated, dated note at the top, plus outbound notification to subscribers who opened the article.
Regulatory or recall-grade error
A claim affected by changing law (UK Animals Act, microchip rules, EU REACH) or a Squffy product recall. Updated, dated note, outbound notification, plus a persistent banner on the article for 30 days.
