Care & Maintenance
Cleaning nylon collars
- Remove any pins/tags.
- Dampen a soft cloth with lukewarm water; add a tiny drop of mild soap.
- Gently wipe the nylon. Over the embroidered letters, dab rather than scrub.
- For dried mud near stitches, use a very soft brush around (not on) the letters.
- Wipe again with clean water until no soap remains (residue attracts dirt).
- Blot with a towel and air dry flat away from heat/sun.
Important
- No bleach, stain removers, solvents, or fabric softener.
- Don’t soak for long or machine-wash/tumble-dry.
- Rinse after saltwater or chlorine and dry the hardware.
Embroidery care
• Do not scrub the letters; use a lint roller for fluff or hair.
• If you notice a tiny loose end, trim carefully,do not pull. Then quickly seal the cut nylon edge with a lighter, but very brief pass to melt the fibers.
Important
Keep the flame away from embroidery and hardware, work in a ventilated area, and let it cool fully before use.
• Slightly off-straight stitching is normal on sturdy, flexible nylon.
Fit & safety checks
• Use the two-finger rule, snug but comfortable. Recheck after grooming or growth.
• Inspect stitching, eyelets, and buckle monthly; discontinue use if you see fraying or damage.
Important
• Not for tie-outs or unattended tethering. Do not attach to cables, stakes, or fixed objects.
• For supervised use only. Never leave your dog tied up and unattended.
• Do not use with tie-out cables or to secure a dog to a fixed point; this can cause injury and damage the product.
Hardware care
Pins & dog tags (18K gold-plated stainless steel)
• Rinse after rain, mud, or beach days; dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh cleaners, chlorine, and perfume. Polish gently with a soft cloth, micro-scratches from normal wear are normal.
Collar and leash hardware ( zinc alloy, gold-tone finish)
• Keep dry where possible. After water, saltwater, or chlorine exposure, rinse with fresh water and dry well. Avoid metal polishes/abrasives (they can thin the finish). Cosmetic wear over time is expected.
General tips
• Wipe off grit/sand promptly, don’t store damp, and remove the collar for swimming when you can to prolong the finish.
Water & weather
• Nylon handles rain; rinse after heavy mud or saltwater and let it dry fully.
• Avoid prolonged soaking or storing the collar while damp.

Font options by size
• XS and S widths use our standard font for best legibility (space is limited).
• M, L, and XL offer multiple font choices.
Will the embroidery be perfectly straight?
• Each collar is stitched by us on sturdy, flexible nylon, so a tiny wiggle or slightly off-straight letters can happen.
• We hand-check every piece to keep it neat and readable; small variations are normal and part of the handmade charm.
Thread color tips
• For best readability, choose high-contrast thread (light on dark collars, dark on light).
• Metallic or very pale tones can read softer/subtle in real life.
Name length and letter size
• Longer names may require slightly smaller letters or tighter spacing to fit neatly within the collar width.
• Character limits are shown on each product page.
Special characters
• To keep quality high, we don’t guarantee perfect results with accents (ë, à, é), so we leave them out.

Production and Shipping
Cancellations and address changes
• We can cancel or edit your order if production hasn’t started or the parcel hasn’t shipped. Contact us as soon as possible.
• Once in production or shipped, changes aren’t possible.

- Customs checks for non-EU destinations such as the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, and Iceland can add extra days.
- Local public holidays anywhere along the route can slow carrier and customs processing.
- Carrier delays due to strikes, weather, or network disruptions can extend delivery times.
- Remote areas and islands (e.g., Greek islands, Azores/Madeira, Canary Islands, Åland, Faroe) may take longer.
- Address issues, failed delivery attempts, or pick-up point holds can add time.
- Security screening or additional border controls on certain routes may cause delays.
- Small tracking gaps can occur when parcels transfer between partner carriers; the parcel is still in transit.
Missing or lost parcel
• If tracking hasn’t updated for several days or shows delivered but you can’t find the parcel, contact us.
• We’ll open a carrier investigation and update you along the way.
• Investigations typically take 7–14 business days (varies by carrier and country).

Pins & Compatibility
• Pins work only on Squffy products with pre-punched, reinforced eyelets. Puppy collars (XS/S) are not compatible.
How to keep pins secure
• Install pins into our pre-punched, reinforced eyelets and tighten until snug, don’t over-tighten.
• Check them occasionally (e.g., weekly or after big adventures) and give a quick re-tighten if needed.
• A small screwdriver is included with every set.
When will you ship my order
Workdays
• we ship within 24 hours after payment is received.
Personalized items
• also ship within 24 hours, we make them in-house.
Weekends and Dutch public holidays
• ships the next business day.
• You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.
Important
• In rare cases (e.g., very high order volume or an address issue), dispatch may take a little longer. We’ll email you if that happens.
Returns & Warranty
Damaged or incorrect item
• We’ll make it right. Contact us with your order number and photos.
Returns
• Personalized items are made just for you and can’t be returned.
• Return window for non-personalized items: 14 days from delivery to notify us, then 14 more days to send it back.
• Refunds include the original standard shipping; return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless stated otherwise.
• Original standard shipping is refunded; return shipping is your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of approval (we may wait until receipt or proof of return).
How to start a return or claim
• Email us with your order number, reason, and photos (if damaged/incorrect). Contact us.
• We’ll reply with return instructions and the return address.
• Pack items securely in original packaging to avoid damage in transit.
Warranty / legal guarantee
• If a fault appears under normal use, contact us with photos and your order number so we can repair or replace where appropriate.
Important
• Wear and tear is not a defect.
What isn’t covered
• Normal wear (scratches on plating, fading, pilling, scuffs).
• Damage from chewing, rough play beyond normal use, or misuse.
• Corrosion or discoloration from saltwater, chlorine, perfumes, or harsh cleaners.
• Modifications or use with non-compatible accessories (e.g., forcing pins into non-reinforced holes).
